to my corner of creativity! I’m Rhonda Jane, a passionate, multifaceted, multihyphenate, self-taught artist, journalist, fashion designer and digital content creator fueled by imagination and a love for storytelling. Whether it’s through writing, photography, or visual art, I believe in the power of authentic expression to connect, inspire, and entertain.
My journey as a creator began when I picked up my first film camera in elementary school, around age 8. When I got to Junior High, my Dad bought me an Olympus Stylus 35mm film camera. I would go to his photo lab after school and develop my shots from the week and bring them back to school. The thrill of being the one who shot the photos, and helped develop the pictures was the igniting spark that has since evolved into a burning passion for sharing my creative efforts with the world. From mystical street art, to thought-provoking insights, or intergalactic collage art pieces, my content aims to expand minds, captivate hearts, and leave a lasting impression on those who encounter it.
What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity. Every piece of content I create is a reflection of my genuine self, infused with personality, humor, and a touch of cannabis. I thrive on the creative process, embracing each challenge as an opportunity to push boundaries, experiment with new ideas, and refine my craft.
Beyond the pixels and pixels, I’m an avid hiker, arts & crafts guru, full-time Dope Momma and Jane of all Trades These aspects of my life enrich my creativity and influence the stories I tell, adding depth and dimension to my work.
Join me on this my continuous journey of creativity and discovery. Whether you’re here for inspiration, entertainment, or a glimpse behind the scenes, I invite you to explore, engage, and become part of the vibrant community of artistry we’re building together.
Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to sharing this creative adventure with you!
Film photography gives me a rush that I often find myself lost for word trying to describe ita. Sadly, that passion slowly faded for me when the digital craze hit the scene in the early 2000s. Photography didn’t seem authentic anymore; or did I need to learn to adjust and adapt to the changing times?
It took me leaving high school and entering college at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) in 2005 where I got over my perfectionist ego of always capturing the perfect shot via film and embraced the digital photography era where you could fix every flaw & create freely.
I signed up to be a Publicity & Activities Coordinator with the Caribbean Student Association and I also signed on as a Staff Writer and Photographer for the Arts Desk for our student publication The Spectrum. From these new opportunities I decided to finally cave in and get a digital camera of my own and I organically began my quest of finding my place in this new digital photography space.
2011, I left my hometown of Buffalo, NY and set my sights & lungs on the West Coast and never looked back. I’ve worked in entertainment, marketing, nightlife, retail, customer service and cannabis in various capacities.
Since 2015, I’ve digitally designed & branded my own fashion line Rhonda Jane and online boutique Stop By & Say High.
I became a Licensed Nail Technician & Manicurist in 2021 studying at the prestigious Neihule Academy of Beauty in Downtown LA. My beauty bar and accessory shop is called Highest Goddess and I specialize in 420 Extendo Press On Nails.
Currently, now in 2023, I run my own brand design agency, CannaBae Design Studio, I love to shoot with Fujifilm Instax, disposable Kodak cameras and my iPhone 13 Pro camera.
I specialize in self-portraits, headshots, local street art, landscape & nature. I especially love product photography, basic photoshop editing, digital collage art & cannabis infused art.
I create digital cannabis collage art and commissioned artwork / brand identity by way of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, PS Express an
